Dashitene (“the app”) is an iPhone app that reminds you of garbage collection days. The app does not collect personal information.
Data stored on your device
Garbage types, collection rules, reminder times, notes, “Done” marks and pause dates are stored only on your iPhone. They are never sent to the developer. The Home Screen widget reads the same on-device data.
Area data
If you pick your area, the app downloads ward collection schedules (one shared file for all areas, built from Tokyo open data) from dashitene.app at most once a day. It never sends which area you chose or anything else about you.
Family share links
A share link (https://dashitene.app/s#…) contains your garbage types, collection rules and the collection point name. They sit after the “#” in the URL, which browsers never send to a server. You decide whom to send the link to. Personal settings such as reminder times are not included.
Calendar export
The .ics file is created on your device, and you choose where to share it.
Notifications and alarms
Notifications and alarms are scheduled on your iPhone; the developer never receives their content.
Purchases
Dashitene Plus purchases are handled by Apple. The developer never receives payment details.
Analytics, ads and tracking
The app uses no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
Website
dashitene.app is served by Cloudflare, which may briefly process visitors' IP addresses for security and delivery. The site uses no cookies and no analytics.
